Tiene sólo un poco más de 300.000 personas que viven en un país con una superficie de 23.000 kilómetros cuadrados, poniéndola una densidad media de alrededor de 14 personas por kilómetro cuadrado. Debido a su escasa población, muchas regiones de Belice se dejan como es por ejemplo, cómo la madre naturaleza creó para que fuera.
